On February 19, 1978 Muhammad Ali visited the country of Bangladesh. He explored much of the country, from the beaches of Cox’s Bazar and the tea gardens of Sylhet, to the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans.
Ali was also granted honorary Bangladeshi citizenship & said:
“So I am a citizen of Bangladesh?...Now if they kick me out of America, I have another home. Thank you.”
